-First As A Flame: Over the last few games Yegor Sherangovich was around it and looking like he was due. Last night he finally got his. Despite the Flames lackluster performance, Sherangovich found the back of the net for the first time as a member of the Calgary Flames.

-Mercifully Over: The Flames 5 game trip through the East came to an end Sunday afternoon with the 6-2 loss in Detroit. Over the trip the Flames went 1-3-1, collecting only 3 of a possible 10 points. They are back home for two before they head to Edmonton for the Heritage Classic.

-DeBrincat Likes Calgary: Alex DeBrincat notched a hat trick last night, carrying the Red Wings to a decisive victory. The three goals now gives him 15 points in 15 career games against the Flames.
